  " I hate Jehovers Witnesses...

  yesterday a friend invited me to a barbecue .

  late in the evening for some reason a guy with tattoos all over his arms, who i didn't know shouted out " i hate jehovers witnesses".

  anyway i noted a sudden quietness in the group, but basically the entire comment passed me by.

  The Rebel:- actually not, but my wife was cleaning the upstairs window, and had reversed them to do the outside. " Help" her panicked scream alerted me from downstairs, I sprang up and the window was about to topple out, I shouted to my new friend to come and help, and he fixed the window, so without a strong wind it was secure, until the professional help arrived.

  That is what happened and if I meet the " guy" in town I now consider us good friends. Yet I still don't know his name.

  I know longer want to cherry pick holes in the organisation.

  instead i would rather spend my days picking fresh cherries from a tree, in fact i am having so much fun i have got the whole family involved, and the freezer is full of red berries, black currents, and today is more strawberry picking.

  i have also gone to a farm and made my own yummy honey.. anyway have you been berry picking?

  do you have any ideas how i can really enjoy my fresh goodies?

  The Rebel. I would also like to acknowledge the Police Obsceinity Squard, and Laywers and most importantly those that have the courage to report such matters to the correct channels. Nonetheless I believe as an individual in my former congregation the best witness I can give to the " mind controlled" members is to be FREE! FREE! ...to bring myself, my wife and child up in a world where we are FREE, from the watchtower.

  Kate your point of view is always valued to me. Why? Because you have in your post history revealed everything's about yourself, and your qualifications, and you are always sincere. If such self expression at times is wrong, then I would be happy to be a fool.

  Anyway my point is we come on the board and we collect the material together, spending painstaking hours, even months reaching our conclusion, that doesn't make our point of view correct, but with the helpful co-operation of positive comments we can challenge our thinking, and humbly correct our viewpoint if wrong. As for your O.P " I conclude evolution is guided" the comments were beyond me, so I must answer. Who knows? Certainly not me? But I think the O.P will educate me with the answers. Thanks for that.

  I would just like to add, on one of my walks along the canal to pick berries I met an ex-witnesss, and if you think i am sad berry picking, he had a pair of binoculars around his neck and had taken up bird watching. And why not? I am glad he likes poking around the countryside with his bird watcher friends watching birds, in a dirty green floppy hat, a mackintosh, and waterproof pants. I hope today he discovers a rare bird and gets over-existed. ( Think about it, it's better than knocking on doors, now that's weird :-)

Anyway I noted a sudden quietness in the group, but basically the entire comment passed me by. Infact this morning I had entirely forgotten the comment. That was until the door bell rings as i am preparing my late breakfast. I open the door and the guy with tattoos all down his arms says " sorry about my comment yesterday, I didn't know you were one of them, but your one of the good guys"

  Anyway I was impressed by his humility and kindness to apologise. I mean this guy would even if I wasnt an ex-witness I believe have apologized. Infact he didn't before yesterday know me from Adam, yet he makes the time and effort to find where I live and apologise to me for a comment that didn't even offend.

  If memory serves me correctly, I believe the answer is down to pride. So it's not a question of the United Nations being evil or not. The issue is that the United Nations, is a proud organisation, govererned by man that has set itself up, to do Jehovers work.

  p.s Comparing Jehovers history of governing man in the old testerment I think the United Nations is doing a very good job.

  p.p.s re your O.P heading " Why would God and Jesus hate the United Nations" according to my memory the term " Hate" in watchtower loaded language can mean to love slightly less.
